Ashima SOS multicompound brake pads are compatible with different discbrakes.
SOS- sintered- organic- sintered brake pads gather together positive features of both organic and sintered pads.

Sintered pads deliver the best wear, high temperature performance and are suitable for most hash environments.
But Sintered do not perform as well as Organic in the cold conditions and Organic pads do not generate and conduct heat to the break fluid as Sintered or Metallic pads.

SOS pads are made with the pattern so that Organic compound is located in the middle of the brake pad resulting on less heat being transferred to the brake piston. In fact the heat transfer rate is 3x less comparing to fully sintered pads.
Features of the SOS pads:

Exceptional high and low temperature performance as well as wet conditions and short term braking performance
Reduced heat generation, heat transfer
Exceptional pad wear (pad wears at the rate of sintered compound)
Low noise level
Good disc wear due to reduced sintered area
